Happy new year and happy new decade everyone !⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ My plan was to post a photo taken today to wish you all happy new year, however as I'm lying in bed with flu ( on the 1st day of the year!) I had to dig into my photo library to find a suitable one. 🤣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ The good thing is that in a few days my flu will be completely gone . And I will have ticked my ill box for this year . Meaning I should not get ill for a bit --hopefully! 🤞⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣ Also, all this bed time gave me some time to reflect on a couple of things which I'd like to share with you today. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We are entering a new decade. And I bet over the last decade a lot has happened to you. It definitely has been so for me.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I did lots of things that scared me but that revealed to be good decisions that made me happy. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Most of these decisions came from choosing to do things I love doing regardless of the fact that I was going to be either scared of doing them or judged for doing them.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I won't go into details but I just wanted to remind you (as well as myself) that whatever you choose to do over the next year or decade, try not to hear what other people say or what your fear voice is saying. Just listen to what your heart is saying.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Check in with yourself and ask, "How will doing this thing make me feel ?". If the feeling is a positive one, then it's a sign you should go for it.
