“So…Do you teach Italian?”
This is a question I get asked a lot (che sorpresa…!😅).
And I like to answer, “Yes, it’s one of the things I teach.”
Because the truth is that learning to speak Italian is a fantastic journey that brings to surface challenges, beliefs and perceptions about yourself and the world around you that need to be faced and, sometimes, changed in order to develop that confidence that make you a fluent Italian speaker.
That’s why I believe that language learning must be married with self discovery and self mastery in order to be effective, along with playfulness and creativity in order to be enjoyable — and that’s the essence of my unique method “Live Italian” and why I can’t just simply teach you Italian! 😁
Because I myself (as a language learner first and then as a teacher) I have realised that it’s all those things listed above, together, that really helped me speak three foreign languages with confidence and embody the other parts of “me” that I came to discover throughout all my language learning journey.
And I am so passionate about bringing you on the same journey…because I find it so fascinating how learning another language changes us as human –in a positive way.
Don’t you think so?
P.S. Would you like to learn more about my approach to Italian learning? I’m hosting a free three days event this coming November called Italianize your Life. It’s unique online event in slow Italian (with English subs😉) to help you speak Italian with more ease by creating a playfully immersive environment in Italian so that you become a confident Italian speaker – and connect with that Italian world you love so much.
